Stallions

We do not stand our own stallion at stud as of yet, however here are the details of the stallions we have used, and will be using in our breeding program at the moment.

For the 2007 foaling season:

Vet School Dowsett.

Dowsett was bred and born at the Vet School in Brisbane and is the 4th generation to be so.

His parentage are well sort after bloodlines of yesteryear including 3 Foundation Sires, 3 Foundation Mares and 3 Impact Sires. His sire is "BLUE MOON MYSTIC" who is by the ASH founding sire "ABBEY". His dam is "VET SCHOOL RIVOLI WENDY" who is by "YALLATUP RIVOLI REX", her mother "VET SCHOOL JEWEL" is sired by Gwen and Don McMillans "DONRICA BEACON" and in turn he is a grandson of "NABINIBAH THE GUN".

Dowsett won his Maiden on the 3rd start at Allora in 2003.

Dowsett stands at Remick ASH Stud in Rosevale Qld.

Myron a Knights Tale

(Goldmine White Knight x Goldluma White Amy).

"Knight" is a 14.2hh cremello stud book ASH stallion, he carried 3 crosses to the legendary Clarendale Champaigne Charlie, well known for the colour produced in his offspring. Knight is a well mannered young stallion, with beautiful conformation who should produce some showy allrounder offspring. His sire is Goldmine White Knight, well known for his multi supremes in the showring.

Knight stands at Shamazan Stud, located in Hall in the ACT.

Jondel Brigalow

Owned by Alan Wallen, and already a champion. His impresive record consists of:

National Championships 2006:

1st placing in Station Horse Stallion 5 yrs, Hack Stallion 5 yrs, Working Stallion 5 yrs , Led Stallion 5 yrs . Placings in Pleasure Hack stallion 5yrs and over, and open challenge working.

East Moreton branch he was awarded champion 4yo futurity, and reserve champion working ASH at the Queensland state show!

He is a star Black Minstrel grandson, as well as having Rivoli Ray and Vet School breeding, as well as other famous foundation and impact sires and mares in hispedigree.

We are lucky to have the only Brigalow foal to be born off the stud this year!

For the 2008 Breeding season:

Glenray Levis

Grey young up and coming stallion by Warrenbri Omega, out of a Rivoli Ray mare.

He was competed at the ASH NSW breeders championships as a 2yo and won champion working under 4 yrs. He has competed locally in ASH events, winning supreme led & supreme ridden, champion working at 3 different shows. He has not started drafting due to drought and lack of cattle. Levis is an extremely quiet horse & pleasure for his breeders to have around.
